- Perhaps the "new" Amiga is too advanced!)
-
- Dr Kittel...perhaps you know something that Apple, Sun, HP and all
- PC makers don't? How many desktop computer makers do you know that
- don't have at least one HD floppy drive in them?
-
- Perhaps a different HD floppy could be found...or else at least put
- a 4X CD as a standard feature in the "next" Amiga and put the OS on
- a CD ROM so at least if something goes wrong with the boot HD there
- will be something the user can boot off of to diagnose the problem.
- And make networking a standard feature also.
-
- If you have a networked computer then I agree that a floppy is not
- needed very often. However for home use or non-networked computers...
- (too bad the Amiga doesn't have built-in networking (HD & SW) like
- the Mac does)...then you need transportable media.
-
- By the way how do you load new SW on a floppyless Amiga?

- Sounds like some third party developers will eat your lunch on this one.
-
-
- PS: you can only sell what you have in stock...hard to sell what you don't have!
- PPS: Now you know why most computer makers have more than one source for parts!
- PPPS: Isn't 20:20 hindsight remarkable?
- PPPS: This is the 1st time I've seen you write something foolish...IMHO!
